NOTICE REGARDING NRS 237:
The Trustees of the Gardnerville Ranchos General Improvement District have adopted a policy in section 10.3.5 of the District’s Policies and Procedures Manual regarding Business Impact Statements. When the Board of Trustees approves its agenda, it also approves a motion, which includes ratification of staff action taken pursuant to NRS 237.030 et. seq. with respect to items on this evening’s agenda and determines that each Rule which is on tonight’s agenda for which a BIS has been prepared does impose a direct and significant economic burden on a business or directly restricts the formation, operation or expansion of a business and each Rule which is on tonight’s agenda for which a BIS has not been prepared does not impose a direct and significant economic impact on a business or directly restrict the formation, operation or expansion of a business. When the individual Trustees vote on a matter on this agenda, the Trustees each certify that the matter has been reviewed and that the Trustee’s vote is cast in compliance with NRS 281, NRS 318 and the District’s Conflict of Interest Policy.
Notice: Items on the agenda may be taken out of order; two or more agenda items may be combined for consideration; and items may be removed from the agenda or discussion relating thereto delayed at any time.

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA:
For possible action: Board action to approve and to incorporate in the motion for approval of agenda the motion set forth in Section 10.3.5 of the District’s Policies and Procedures Manual regarding Business Impact Statements, after Board discussion and public comment.

NEW BUSINESS:
I. For Possible Action: Board discussion regarding a complaint on how the meter program is not working for realtors. Board discussion followed by public comment. Possible Board action to direct the District Manager to adjust or leave his administrative rule as is regarding how the meter program notification plan works. Action Item- Jan Burgman (15 minutes)
II. For Possible Action: Board discussion regarding the cost to put surveillance
equipment at the District’s 1.5-million-gallon water tank. Board discussion followed
by public comment. Possible Board action to approve the funding for surveillance
equipment and installation for the 1.5-million-gallon water tank. Action Item –
District Manager (15 minutes)
III. Possible Board Action: Board discussion regarding the renewal of the District Engineer’s contract. Board discussion followed by public comment. Possible Board action to approve a new contract for Lumos & Associates, Inc. to perform the duties of District Engineer effective July 1, 2017. Action Item – Board of Trustees (15 minutes)

- Board discussion on a request from Carson Valley Homesites LLC regarding a possible future annexation request. Board discussion followed by public comment. Possible Board action on a presentation to be made by Carson Valley Homesites, LLC about the splitting of a lot and annexing the remainder into District as it will be made part of a lot within the Pleasantview Subdivision.

Possible Board action to formally thank outgoing Trustee Cade Baligad for his 12 years of dedicated service to the residents of the Gardnerville Ranchos General Improvement District.
